How to use it
- Read the grown-up guide on page 1. Explain that people can have different needs and there is no single answer for every situation.
- A grown-up cuts out the 12 cards on pages 2–4. Lay out the Need, Want and It Depends mats on pages 5–7.
- Choose one card, describe a situation and ask where it could go. Invite your child to explain. Change the situation and try again.
Print on US Letter paper at actual size (100%), single-sided. Use color or grayscale. Grown-ups handle scissors; no purchase or real money is needed.
