Nico Mercado creates children’s stories and activity books about family, money, and the natural world. His Mateo Adventures books combine warm family moments, practical choices, and a light touch of Spanish.

Created for ages 4–7, Mateo Goes to the Store and Mateo Buys a Bike introduce counting, saving, patience, and thoughtful choices through adventures families can read together. Companion workbooks give children practice recognizing and counting coins and bills.

For ages 6–9, Mateo’s Rainforest Field Journal: Coloring & Activity Book invites young explorers to color rainforest animals, solve field missions, and record their discoveries.
